Our definition here is 'it's hooked', and our answer will be something that is hooked.

This clue's indicators are 'head' and 'can’t see', and the latter is a homoglyph + deletion indicator. 'see' is telling us to observe the shape that a nearby word represents, and find the letter that corresponds to that shape. When paired with 'can't', we're being told to delete that homoglyph from neighbouring fodder - we can't see it! Oh yes, and 'head' is a selection indicator naming the position of an important letter in adjacent fodder.
